It’s that time of year again when all of your favorite fashion royalties come under one roof to celebrate...fashion. Some may ask, exactly what is the Met Gala and where does it take place? I honestly never really knew what it was, just that I always looked forward to seeing all of my favorite celebrities get dressed up and rock the baddest designer outfits a girl could imagine! That being said the Met Gala is pretty much a black-tie fundraising event that takes place the first Monday of May to raise money for the costume institute, also known as the most fashionable party of the year! It is held at the " Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute " located in the one and only New York City. Each year the museum displays a different exhibition to which celebrities get to play dress up and follow that theme. Happy National Ice Cream Day! That's right today is one of my favorite "holidays" lol, yea I know it's technically not an actual holiday but who cares! I love ice cream and today is the perfect excuse to eat as much of it as I want! I mean whoever doesn't like ice cream I truly feel sorry for you...just kidding but no seriously how can you not? Here's the scoop , Island Tropical , Cajou Creamery , Taharka Bros. Ice Cream , Southwest Soda Pop Shop ,...
Where do we began. This past weekend we went to one of the best day parties DC had to offer in a while!! I mean everything was on point. To start off, the party was hosted by Chef Roble , Saada Ahmed and RockCreekSocialClub . We got there early to get a taste of what Chef Roble was cooking up but unfortunately things didn't go quite as planned. A few mimosas later we headed upstairs to where the real party took place and what a party it was!! The Dj was playing the hottest 90's r&b and hip hop tracks you could imagine. Shots straight out of the bottle were being passed around to anyone brave enough to partake! The best part about it was everyone was dancing. The crowd was looking very fashionable with different eclectic styles not to mention natural hair dolls everywhere. We were very fortunate to meet a very unique local fashion designer, a few socialites and models in between partying. ...
