National Harbor Wine and Food Festival


Soo this past Saturday was the wine and food festival at the National Harbor which in our opinion should have been called the wine and liquor festival!! Don't get me wrong, it was greatly enjoyed but I was really looking forward to tasting the food as well and it was nowhere to be seen. 
 
Besides that, it was a beautiful sunny day, and it was a friend's bday weekend and everyone was getting their drink on! We had shots of Jack Daniels, Bacardi, and Pinnacle vodka and etc.! At that point we lost count! It was the best and of course tons of wine tastings which didn't make it any better! And of course, we bought a few bottles to take back home!  

So as you can imagine we were feeling quite nice, maybe too nice lol!  To the point we basically canceled all plans to go out that night to just order the fight and try to sober up (well sorta). Lol! So, there you have it! I can honestly say that was the best wine festival and I would advise anyone next year to come out!

Black Owned Ice Cream Shops in the DMV

Happy National Ice Cream Day! That's right today is one of my favorite "holidays" lol, yea I know it's technically not an actual holiday but who cares! I love ice cream and today is the perfect excuse to eat as much of it as I want! I mean whoever doesn't like ice cream I truly feel sorry for you...just kidding but no seriously how can you not?
